The game is played by helping a flock of birds from retrieving their eggs from a group of green pigs. With each level the pigs are sheltered even more such as ice, stone, wood, etc. This is done by slinging the Angry birds across the pigs’ territory. Once all the pigs are defeated before the last bird can be used, the level is over. Thus, it opens the next level of the game. Due to its simple storyline and great graphics, game became an instant sensation. It has been downloaded a billion times.

• The game was released for Apple IOS users on December 11, 2009.  After gaining twelve million downloads, the developer decided to release the game on Smartphone that has an Android system.
